    About this album

I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again is a lively snapshot of one of British comedy’s most important radio troupes. Issued in 1967, the album gathers sketches, songs and rapid-fire satire from the BBC series that helped define student and alternative humour in the years before Monty Python. The cast’s daft wordplay, absurd scenarios and musical send-ups translate the show’s anarchic energy into a concise LP format, with material that is both knowingly silly and sharply written. For listeners tracing the rise of modern UK radio comedy, it stands as an early and influential landmark.
