Hoodoo Gurus – Blow Your Cool! (VG+/VG+) – LP, AU 1987

Blow Your Cool! is an LP by Hoodoo Gurus from 1987 released on the Big Time label.

About this album

Blow Your Cool! sharpens Hoodoo Gurus’ blend of power pop, garage bite and laconic wit into one of their most accessible albums. Released in 1987, it followed the Australian band’s fast rise and delivered the breakthrough single “What’s My Scene”, a song that helped push them into wider international recognition. The record balances jangling guitars, catchy melodies and a sly, good-natured irreverence that made the Gurus stand out in the 1980s rock landscape. It is widely regarded as a key album in their catalogue, capturing the point where their underground energy met mainstream appeal without losing character.
