Heart is a sharp, radio-ready comeback that turned the Wilson sisters’ hard rock force into one of the defining arena rock albums of the mid-1980s. Released in 1985, it marked a major commercial resurgence for the band, with glossy production and a stronger pop-rock focus broadening their audience without losing their edge. The album yielded some of Heart’s best-known songs, including What About Love, These Dreams and Never, and helped re-establish them as a major chart act. Balancing power ballad appeal with muscular guitar work, it became one of the group’s most commercially successful and enduring records.
