About this album

Dreamboat Annie is the breakthrough debut that introduced Heart as a force in rock, balancing hard-edged riffs with melodic pop instinct. Released in 1975, the album built the band’s reputation through songs like ‘Magic Man’ and ‘Crazy On You’, which showcased Ann and Nancy Wilson’s powerful vocals, sharp songwriting and guitar attack. Its blend of classic rock urgency and radio-friendly hooks helped Heart stand out in a male-dominated era, and the record became the foundation for their long career. Dreamboat Annie remains widely regarded as one of the defining hard rock debuts of the 1970s.
