    Dog & Butterfly shows Heart sharpening their late-1970s sound into a strong mix of arena rock power and acoustic detail. Released in 1978, the album followed the commercial breakthrough of Little Queen and confirmed the Wilson sisters as major forces in American rock. “Straight On” became a standout single, while the title track and “Mistral Wind” show the band moving confidently between punchy pop-rock and more reflective writing.
