Harry Nilsson – ...That's The Way It Is (VG+/VG+) – LP, AU 1976

...That's The Way It Is is an LP by Harry Nilsson from 1976 released on the RCA Victor label.

About this album

...That's The Way It Is shows Harry Nilsson working in a leaner, more unsettled pop-rock style. Released in 1976, the album arrived after his early-1970s peak and reflects an artist whose gift for melody was increasingly matched by a darker, more sardonic outlook. Nilsson’s supple voice still anchors the record, but the material feels less whimsical and more emotionally knotted, balancing wistful songwriting with flashes of dry wit. It sits within the broader arc of his career as one of his later studio statements, revealing why he remained such a distinctive and unpredictable figure in 1970s rock.
