Faith is an LP by George Michael from 1987 released on the Epic label.

About this album

Faith is George Michael’s bold solo breakthrough and a defining late-1980s crossover album. Released in 1987, it followed his rise with Wham! and confirmed him as a fully realised writer, producer and performer in his own right. Built on crisp drum programming, guitar-driven hooks and a confident blend of pop, soul, funk and rock, the album balanced radio-ready immediacy with sharp emotional control. Singles such as Faith, Father Figure and One More Try became global hits, while the album’s success helped set the template for adult-oriented pop with mass appeal. It remains one of the era’s most influential and commercially successful pop albums.
