Cloud Nine is an LP by George Harrison from 1987 released on the Dark Horse Records label.
About this album
Cloud Nine marked a triumphant late-1980s comeback for George Harrison, returning him to the centre of pop with sharp songwriting and contemporary polish. Produced with Jeff Lynne, the album balances Harrison’s melodic warmth and reflective wit against a brighter, radio-ready sound that refreshed his solo career without diluting his identity. It became a commercial success and is best known for “Got My Mind Set on You”, a chart-topping cover that introduced Harrison to a new generation, while “When We Was Fab” nodded back to his Beatles legacy. The result is one of his most accessible and enduring solo statements.
