    About this album

Free Live distils the band's hard-driving blues rock into a tight, high-impact live statement. Issued in 1971, the EP captures Free at the point where Paul Rodgers' soulful vocal attack, Paul Kossoff's searching guitar and the rhythm section's heavy groove made them one of Britain's most compelling hard rock bands. With crowd-tested versions of songs such as All Right Now, Mr Big and Fire And Water, it shows how the group's studio material translated into a forceful concert setting. Short in running time but strong in impact, it underlines Free's place in the early classic rock era.
