About this album
Records is a strong early snapshot of Foreigner’s stadium-sized pop-rock, gathering the songs that turned the band into one of the late 1970s and early 1980s’ most reliable hitmakers. Issued in 1982, this compilation draws on the group’s first run of success and highlights the polished guitar hooks, arena choruses and radio-ready songwriting that powered singles such as Cold As Ice, Feels Like the First Time, Hot Blooded and Juke Box Hero. Foreigner’s blend of British-American rock craft and AOR punch made these songs crossover favourites, and Records presents that formula in concentrated form.
