Firefall – Firefall (VG+/VG+) – LP, AU 1976

Firefall is an LP by Firefall from 1976 released on the Atlantic label.

About this album

Firefall’s self-titled debut is a polished statement of country-rock craft that helped make the band a soft-rock favourite in the mid-1970s. Released in 1976, the album pairs close harmonies, melodic guitar work and radio-ready songwriting on songs such as You Are the Woman and Mexico, the latter becoming one of the group’s best-known staples. Coming from the fertile Colorado scene, Firefall balanced the ease of country-rock with the sheen of mainstream rock production, giving the record broad appeal without losing its rootsy feel. Its strongest material established the band’s reputation quickly and secured the album a lasting place in American FM rock history.
