About this album

C'mon Everybody is a useful Elvis Presley compilation that spotlights the breadth of his 1970s rock and pop repertoire. Issued in 1977, it draws together performances from across his post-peak years, when Presley was still able to turn rock ’n’ roll standards, tender ballads and swaggering pop workouts into unmistakably his own. The selection highlights the range that kept him commercially vital long after the initial explosion of the 1950s, with songs like Viva Las Vegas and What'd I Say underlining his enduring stage presence and crossover appeal. As a snapshot of an artist whose influence remained immense, it offers a strong overview of Presley’s late-period catalogue.
