Eldorado - A Symphony By The Electric Light Orchestra is an LP by Electric Light Orchestra from 1974 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.

About this album

Eldorado is Electric Light Orchestra’s breakthrough symphonic rock statement, the album that sharpened Jeff Lynne’s orchestral ambition into a more focused, song-driven vision. Issued in 1974, it blends sweeping strings, choir-like arrangements and hard-rock muscle on songs such as “Can’t Get It Out of My Head” and “Boy Blue”, giving the record both grandeur and immediate melodic pull. Often regarded as one of ELO’s finest albums, it helped define the band’s identity beyond experimentation, balancing classical scale with accessible pop craftsmanship. Its success paved the way for the more polished arena-friendly work that followed.
