My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama... is an LP by Dweezil Zappa from 1988 released on the Chrysalis label.
About this album
My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama... is a spirited hard-rock debut that introduces Dweezil Zappa as both a guitarist and a songwriter with a sharp comic edge. Released in 1988, the album mixes muscular riffing, playful arrangements and a cheeky sense of mischief, reflecting both the era’s polished rock sound and the Zappa family’s taste for offbeat humour. With songs such as the title track, Her Eyes Don't Follow Me and The Coolest Guy In The World, it shows an artist eager to balance technical chops with memorable hooks, making it an intriguing early statement from one of rock’s most recognisable musical families.
