    About this album

I Remember Yesterday is the Donna Summer album that pushed disco into the future. Released in 1977, it pairs lush dancefloor writing with a bold concept built around the past, present and future of popular music. Most famously, it closes with “I Feel Love”, the Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte production that replaced band-style backing with a driving electronic pulse and became one of disco’s defining recordings. Alongside songs such as “Love’s Unkind”, the album shows Summer moving easily between soulful balladry and sleek club music, helping establish her as a major figure in both disco and the emerging electronic pop sound.
