Deborah Harry – Rockbird (VG/VG+) – LP, AU 1986

Rockbird is an LP by Deborah Harry from 1986 released on the Chrysalis label.

About this album

Rockbird is Deborah Harry’s polished and sharply styled solo statement, extending the wit and attitude that made her a pop icon with Blondie. Issued in 1986, the album leans into glossy power pop and pop rock, pairing hook-heavy songs with Harry’s cool, unmistakable delivery. French Kissin’ in the USA became the standout single, helping the record reach a wider audience and reaffirming her ability to balance mainstream appeal with character and edge. Produced with an ear for radio-friendly sheen, Rockbird shows Harry navigating mid-80s pop without losing the detached glamour and bite that defined her image and influence.
