Carnival is an LP by Crown Of Thorns from 1988 released on the Crawdaddy Records label.
About this album
Carnival is a fiercely original 1988 album from Crown Of Thorns, fusing alternative rock, blues and psychobilly into a sharp, unruly sound. The record leans on raw guitar bite, rootsy momentum and dark humour, giving the songs a scrappy intensity that set them apart from more polished rock acts of the era. Its mix of swagger and rough-edged storytelling reflects the late-1980s appetite for genre-crossing underground music, and the album has become a distinctive cult statement for listeners drawn to the heavier, off-centre side of rock.
