About this album

Déjà Vu is Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s landmark 1970 album, and one of the defining statements of post-60s American rock. The quartet expanded the harmony-rich sound of their debut into something darker and more ambitious, with Neil Young adding a harder edge to songs such as Carry On, Helpless and Everybody I Love You. Blending folk rock and country rock with personal lyrics and political unease, the album captured the contradictions of its era without losing melodic directness. Teach Your Children, Our House and Woodstock became enduring classics, helping make Déjà Vu a touchstone for the singer-songwriter and harmony-rock traditions.
