    About this album

Night Moves is the album that cemented Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band as masters of heartland rock. Released in 1976, it sharpened Seger’s mix of working-class grit, nostalgia and radio-ready songwriting into one of his defining statements. The title track became a signature hit, while songs such as Rock and Roll Never Forgets and Mainstreet showed his gift for turning personal memory into widescreen American storytelling. With its pop-rock drive and AOR polish, the album helped carry Seger from regional favourite to national force and remains one of the key records in his catalogue.
