Recorded in 1975 at the Lyceum Theatre in London and issued that same year, the album distils the band’s political urgency, tight musicianship and crowd-shaping energy into a set that helped define Marley’s international breakthrough. The performance is anchored by songs such as No Woman, No Cry, Get Up, Stand Up and I Shot the Sheriff, heard here as rallying calls rather than studio cuts. Widely regarded as one of the great live reggae albums, it remains a key document of Marley’s rise and the Wailers’ power onstage.
