The other side of Bob Dylan is his lesser-known romantic, absurdist and whimsical side, which had been little featured on the musician's previous, more intellectual releases. With "Another Side of Bob Dylan," he corrected his course, and with it his image as spokesman for a rebellious generation and saviour of the people. Dylan turned his back on drama and produced an album full of madcap whimsy, hallucinogenic prose, humorous perspectives and non-committal themes. The result is a richly varied LP that features bona-fide classics such as All I Really Want to Do, Chimes of Freedom, My Back Pages, I Don't Believe You, and It Ain't Me Babe.
