Some Enchanted Evening is an LP by Blue Öyster Cult from 1978 released on the CBS label.
About this album
Some Enchanted Evening captures Blue Öyster Cult at their most forceful, turning hard rock and arena bombast into a tightly wound live statement. Issued in 1978, the album documents a band already known for smart, sinister songwriting and muscular riffing, with performances of signature material such as Godzilla, E.T.I. (Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) and (Don’t Fear) The Reaper. The set helped cement the group’s reputation beyond the album charts, showing how their studio precision translated into a bigger, heavier concert experience. For fans of late-’70s hard rock, it remains one of the defining live documents of the era.
