Boppin' The Blues is an LP by Blackfeather from 1972 released on the Infinity label.

About this album

Boppin' The Blues is a spirited 1972 album that finds Blackfeather tightening their psychedelic rock into lean, hard-driving Australian rock. The record builds on the band’s reputation for energetic guitar work and blues-rooted force, while keeping enough swagger and eccentricity to stand apart from straightforward hard rock. Titles such as the opener Pineapple and the title track point to a band balancing muscular riffs with a loose, playful feel. As part of the early-1970s Australian rock wave, Boppin' The Blues shows Blackfeather refining a sound that helped define the era’s heavier local scene.
