    Main Course is the Bee Gees’ decisive reinvention, where the brothers shifted from baroque pop and harmony ballads into leaner, groove-driven funk and R&B. Produced with Arif Mardin and released in 1975, the album sharpened their writing and ushered in the sound that would soon define their late-1970s success. Jive Talkin’ became a major international hit, while Nights on Broadway showed Barry Gibb’s newly distinctive falsetto and the group’s stronger rhythmic focus.
