About this album

Live At The Regal is the definitive B.B. King live album and one of electric blues’ great statements. Recorded at Chicago’s Regal Theater in 1964 and released in 1965, it captures King at full command: sharp-toned guitar lines, rich vocal phrasing and an effortless rapport with a responsive audience. With classics such as Every Day I Have the Blues, Sweet Little Angel and How Blue Can You Get, the set shows why King became the genre’s most influential modern ambassador. Its energy, polish and emotional force made it a touchstone for later blues and rock performers alike.
