    About this album

More Official Adventures Of Batman & Robin is a playful 1966 Batman novelty album built from comic dialogue, story and radioplay elements rather than conventional pop songs. Issued during the height of the 1960s Batman craze, it extends the camp, family-friendly energy that made the TV franchise such a pop-culture phenomenon. The album turns superhero mythology into light entertainment, with dramatic narration, character exchanges and tongue-in-cheek humour designed to appeal to younger listeners and fans of the series alike. As a piece of Stage & Screen memorabilia, it captures how Batman crossed from comics and television into broad multimedia popularity.
