  • Arcade Fire, the highly acclaimed indie rockers from Canada, present their new album "Reflektor" as a double CD. As a sequel to "The Suburbs", which has already been awarded a Grammy for Album of the Year, expectations are high.

13 brand-new tracks on 2 CDs, including the pre-released single "Reflektor", on which rock legend David Bowie will make a short guest appearance with his backing vocals. With the song "We Exist" choirs underline the rock of the 70s. With "Here Comes The Night Time" a psychedelic kraut rock develops, which finds its conclusion on the second album in the song "Here Comes The Night Time II" with cello and church organ.

Arcade Fire have designed quite a few things differently on their new album than on their previous albums. On "Reflektor" they change the usual structures, here the indie rockers use a wide range of instruments.

"A double album from the alternative rock stars." [Rolling Stone, November 2013]

Her song ideas about isolation and alienation, experiences of being an outsider and the compulsion to normality speak from the soul of the inhabitants of today's metropolises (Stereo, January 2014)
