Anderson .paak & Cordae - Heavy Is the Crown

Nine-time GRAMMY® winner Anderson .Paak and GRAMMY®-nominated rapper Cordae have been on the same wavelength for years. What began in 2019 with “RNP” has now become one of the most natural and humble partnerships in hip-hop. On their collaborative debut album, “Heavy Is The Crown,” this organic connection finally gets the attention it has always deserved. The title isn’t just bragging—it directly addresses the shared burden both artists carry as primary providers and pillars of their families. As completely equal partners, .Paak’s elastic, soul-soaked musicality anchors Cordae’s razor-sharp lyrics, allowing both to shed light on the heavy reality of success and family responsibilities without ever losing their spark.
