Wizzard Vinyl Records

Wizzard was an English glam rock band formed in 1972 by Roy Wood, a former member of the popular band The Move. Wood wrote and produced all of the band's material and was the only permanent member of the group. The band's lineup changed frequently, with Wood being the only constant presence.

The band released their debut single "Ball Park Incident" in 1972 and went on to release two successful albums, Wizzard Brew (1973) and Introducing Eddy and the Falcons (1974). Their most successful single was "See My Baby Jive", which reached number four on the UK Singles Chart in 1973. Other notable singles include "Angel Fingers" (1973) and "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" (1973).

An interesting fact about Wizzard is that they were the first band to use a drum machine on a record. The machine was used on the song "Are You Ready to Rock" (1974). The use of a drum machine would become a popular technique in later years.
