William Onyeabor Vinyl Records

William Onyeabor was a Nigerian musician who was active in the 1970s and 1980s. He was born in 1945 and had a career in electronic music, producing funk, disco and synth-funk. His self-released albums were only available in Nigeria, and he was largely unknown outside of the country until his music was re-released in 2013.

Onyeabor's standout albums include Atomic Bomb (1978), Crashes in Love (1980), and Anything You Sow (1985). His most popular songs include "Fantastic Man," "Good Name," and "Body and Soul."

An interesting fact about William Onyeabor is that he was a devout Christian who stopped making music in 1985 and devoted his life to religion. He never gave interviews and rarely performed live. He died in 2017 at the age of 70.
