Whodini Vinyl Records

Whodini is an American hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York, consisting of rapper/vocalist Jalil Hutchins and rapper John Fletcher (aka Ecstasy). They were pioneers of the 1980s New York hip hop scene and one of the first rap groups to have a major mainstream success.

The group's debut album, 'Escape' (1984), was a breakthrough success and yielded the hit single "Friends" as well as "Five Minutes of Funk". Their follow-up album, 'Back in Black' (1985), featured the hit singles "Freaks Come Out at Night" and "Haunted House of Rock".

Their third album, 'Bag-a-Trix' (1986), featured the hit single "The Haunted House of Rock" and the single "Big Mouth". The fourth album, 'Open Sesame' (1988), featured the hit single "Funky Beat".
