Wang Chung Vinyl Records

Wang Chung is an English new wave/synth-pop duo formed in 1980. The duo consists of Jack Hues (vocals/guitar) and Nick Feldman (bass/keyboards). The band was named after the Chinese philosopher, Wang Chung, and released their debut album, “Points on the Curve” in 1984.

The band’s most successful album was “Mosaic” (1986), which peaked at No. 44 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and spawned the hit single “Everybody Have Fun Tonight”, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Other popular songs include “Dance Hall Days”, “Don’t Let Go”, and “Let’s Go”.

The band went on hiatus in 1989 and reunited in 2005, releasing the album “Abducted by the 80s” in 2008.

An interesting fact about Wang Chung is that Jack Hues once opened for David Bowie and Queen on their 1984 world tour.
