Tricky Vinyl Records

Tricky (born Adrian Thaws) is an English trip-hop musician and producer from Bristol, England. He began his career as a part of the Bristol-based trip-hop collective Massive Attack. He is best known for his solo work, often described as dark, layered, and experimental.

Tricky released his debut solo album, Maxinquaye, in 1995 to critical acclaim. It is considered a classic of the trip-hop genre and includes singles such as "Overcome" and "Hell Is Round the Corner". His follow-up albums Pre-Millennium Tension (1996), Angels with Dirty Faces (1998), and Juxtapose (1999) are also considered classic albums.

Tricky's most recent album, Ununiform, was released in 2017 and features guest appearances from Martina Topley-Bird, Asia Argento, and Mina Rose. It includes the singles "The Only Way" and "Running Wild".

Tricky has collaborated with artists such as Bjork, PJ Harvey, Neneh Cherry, and his former Massive Attack bandmates 3D and Daddy G.

An interesting fact about Tricky is that he was once an illegal street vendor in London and was arrested several times. He has said that this experience was influential in his music, which often contains a sense of dark and rebellious energy.
