The Wailers Vinyl Records
The Wailers are a reggae band formed in Jamaica in 1963. They are considered one of the most influential acts in the history of reggae music. The original lineup included Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer, who all left the group in 1974 to pursue solo careers. The Wailers’s most iconic albums include Catch a Fire (1973), Burnin’ (1973), Natty Dread (1974), Rastaman Vibration (1976), and Exodus (1977). Some of the group’s most memorable songs include “Get Up Stand Up”, “I Shot the Sheriff”, “No Woman, No Cry”, “Stir It Up”, and “Exodus”. An interesting fact about The Wailers is that their music was so influential that it helped to spread the Rastafarian faith, which is based on the teachings of Marcus Garvey.
