The Truth Vinyl Records
The Truth is an American hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York. The group is made up of three members: Q-Unique, Jise One, and Karniege. They first came together in 1997, and have since released three full-length albums: "The Underside of Life" (2000), "The Falling Sickness" (2003), and "Inner City Chronicles" (2006).
The Truth's standout albums include "The Underside of Life", which featured the single "Sick and Tired" which was featured in the video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. Their second album "The Falling Sickness" featured the single "Push It Away", which was featured on the soundtrack to the movie "The Wash". Their third album "Inner City Chronicles" featured the single "Rise Up" which was featured on the soundtrack to the movie "Hustle and Flow".
An interesting fact about The Truth is that they are the only hip hop group to have been featured in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game series.
