The Move Vinyl Records

The Move was an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1966. They are best known for their hit singles, such as "Flowers in the Rain" and "Blackberry Way", as well as their progressive rock album Shazam, which was released in 1970. The band's original lineup included Roy Wood, Carl Wayne, Bev Bevan, and Trevor Burton.

The Move's first album, The Move, was released in 1968 and was a mixture of pop and psychedelia. Their next album, Looking On, was released in 1970 and featured a more progressive sound. The album featured the single "Brontosaurus" which reached the Top 10 in the UK.

Their third album, Shazam, was released in 1970 and was their most successful album. The album featured the single "Blackberry Way", which reached the Top 5 in the UK. The album also featured the single "Do Ya", which was later covered by ELO.

The Move's other notable albums include Message from the Country (1971) and Split Ends (1973). The band disbanded in 1972, but reunited in 1982 and released a new album, To the Rescue.

An interesting fact about The Move is that their first single, "Night of Fear", reached number two on the UK charts in 1966, making it the first top-10 single released by a band from Birmingham.
