The Incredible String Band Vinyl Records

The Incredible String Band (ISB) is a British psychedelic folk band formed in Scotland in 1966. The band's original members were Robin Williamson and Mike Heron, who were later joined by Licorice McKechnie, Clive Palmer, and Rose Simpson. They are considered one of the most influential British bands of the 1960s and 1970s, and have been credited with leading the folk-rock movement.

The band's most successful albums are 1966's The Incredible String Band, 1968's The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter, and 1969's Changing Horses. These albums featured a unique blend of traditional folk, blues, and psychedelic rock, combined with imaginative and often surreal lyrics. Some of their most popular songs include "First Girl I Loved," "Painting Box," "The Half-Remarkable Question," and "October Song."

An interesting fact about The Incredible String Band is that they were the first British act to perform at the legendary Woodstock Music & Art Fair in 1969. They were also the first British group to have a Top 40 hit in the U.S. with "The Half-Remarkable Question" in 1969.
