The Groundhogs Vinyl Records

The Groundhogs are an English blues rock band formed in London in 1964. The original lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist Tony McPhee, bassist Pete Cruickshank, and drummer Ken Pustelnik. The group is best known for their 1971 album, "Split", which included their most successful single, "Cherry Red".

The Groundhogs' style has changed over the years, but they are most often associated with blues rock, psychedelia, and hard rock. Their albums are known for their improvisational nature and extended guitar solos. Some of their standout albums include "Thank Christ For The Bomb" (1970), "Split" (1971), and "Hogwash" (1972).

Some of the Groundhogs' most well-known songs include "Cherry Red", "Garden", "Soldier", and "Cherry Red".

An interesting fact about the Groundhogs is that the band's name was inspired by the comic book character, Captain Britain. The band's original drummer, Ken Pustelnik, was a fan of the character and suggested the name.
