The Angels

The Angels are an Australian rock band, formed in Adelaide in 1974 by brothers John and Rick Brewster. They were joined by Bob Spencer on guitar and vocals, James Morley on bass, and Graham Bidstrup on drums. The band had a string of Top 10 albums and singles in Australia throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including the hit single "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again".

The Angels' most successful album was No Exit in 1979, which featured the band's best-known hit, "No Secrets". Other standout albums include Face to Face (1978), Dark Room (1980), Night Attack (1982) and Beyond Salvation (1989).

Some of their other popular songs include "Take a Long Line", "Shadow Boxer", "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", "After the Rain", and "Marseilles".

An interesting fact about The Angels is that they were the first rock band to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1998. They continue to perform live, including shows at the legendary Sydney Opera House in 2015 and 2017.
