The Adventures Vinyl Records

The Adventures are a British pop band formed in 1984 in Birmingham, England. The group's original lineup included vocalist and guitarist Terry Sharpe, bassist Steve Cradock, guitarist Simon Calnan and drummer Clive Pigott. The band had several hit singles in the UK and a top 10 album in the US.

The Adventures' debut album, The Sea of Love, was released in 1985 and featured their biggest hit single, "Send My Heart". The single reached number 8 on the UK Singles Chart, and the album reached number 23 on the UK Albums Chart.

The band's second album, Adventures in the Land of Big Beats, was released in 1988. The lead single, "Broken Land", peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart and was the band's biggest hit single. The album reached number 24 on the UK Albums Chart.

The Adventures' third album, Take the Long Way Home, was released in 1991 and featured the singles "Still Got the Fever" and "One Step from Heaven". The album reached number 15 on the UK Albums Chart.

An interesting fact about the band is that they are credited as being one of the first bands to combine elements of punk, pop and new wave into their sound.
