Superchunk Vinyl Records

Superchunk is an American indie rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, formed in 1989. The band is composed of Mac McCaughan (vocals, guitar), Jim Wilbur (guitar), Jon Wurster (drums) and Laura Ballance (bass). The band has released ten studio albums, including their 1990 debut album, "Mower", and their most recent album, "What a Time to Be Alive" (2018). Some of their standout albums include "On the Mouth" (1993), "Foolish" (1994), "Here's Where the Strings Come In" (1995) and "Majesty Shredding" (2010). Some of their most popular songs include "Hyper Enough", "My Gap Feels Weird", "The First Part" and "What a Time to Be Alive". An interesting fact about Superchunk is that their bassist, Laura Ballance, is also the co-founder of the record label Merge Records, which was founded in 1989.
