Sunnyboys

Sunnyboys are an Australian rock band, formed in Sydney in 1979. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Jeremy Oxley, bass guitarist Peter Oxley, drummer Bil Bilson and guitarist Richard Burgman.

Sunnyboys released their self-titled debut album in 1981, which contained their hit singles “Alone With You” and “Happy Man”, both of which reached the top 30 on the Australian singles chart. The album was a critical and commercial success, and was certified platinum.

Their follow-up album, Get Some Fun, was released in 1982 and featured the singles “Love to Rule” and “Let It Shine”. The band split up in 1983 after the release of their third album, Personality, which featured the single “Show Me Some Discipline”.

The band reunited in 2011, and released their fourth album, Sunnyboys, in 2013. The album featured the single “Don’t Let Go”, which reached the top 20 on the Australian singles chart.

An interesting fact about Sunnyboys is that their song “Alone With You” was covered by The Offspring on their album Americana.
