Stryper Vinyl Records

Stryper is an American Christian metal band from Orange County, California that was formed in 1983. The band's lineup consists of brothers Michael Sweet (lead vocals, guitar) and Robert Sweet (drums, percussion), bassist Timothy Gaines, and guitarist Oz Fox. Stryper has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, and achieved two gold albums and one platinum album.

Stryper's standout albums include their debut album, 1984's Soldiers Under Command, which featured hit songs such as "Soldiers Under Command", "Makes Me Wanna Sing" and "To Hell With The Devil". The band's second album, 1986's To Hell With The Devil, featured the title track and popular songs such as "Calling on You" and "Free". The band's third album, 1988's In God We Trust, featured hits such as "Always There for You", "The Way" and "Two Time Woman".

Stryper's most recent album is 2018's God Damn Evil, which features the hit single "Take It to the Cross".

An interesting fact about Stryper is that the band's name is an acronym which stands for "Salvation Through Redemption Yielding Peace, Encouragement and Righteousness".
