Songs: Ohia was an American indie folk and rock band founded in 1997 in Chicago, Illinois, by singer-songwriter Jason Molina. The band was active until its dissolution in 2003, releasing seven studio albums, three live albums, and a number of singles and EPs.

The band's best-known albums include their debut, The Lioness (2000), and its follow-up, Didn't It Rain (2002), which earned critical acclaim and won the inaugural Shortlist Music Prize. The band's other popular albums include Magnolia Electric Co. (2003), Axxess & Ace (1999), and Love & Work: The Music of Songs: Ohia (2007).

Some of the band's standout songs include "Farewell Transmission", "Tigress", "Almost Was Good Enough", "Ring the Bell", and "Blue Factory Flame".

An interesting fact about Songs: Ohia is that the name was inspired by a mountain range in the United States, the Ozarks.
