Sister Sledge Vinyl Records

Sister Sledge is an American R&B/disco vocal group formed in 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group consisted of sisters Debbie, Joni, Kim and Kathy Sledge. They achieved international success at the height of the disco era with several hit singles, most notably their 1979 album We Are Family, which featured the title track written and produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of the group Chic. Some of Sister Sledge's most popular albums include We Are Family (1979), Love Somebody Today (1980), and Bet Cha Say That to All the Girls (1983). Some of their standout songs include "We Are Family", "He's the Greatest Dancer", "Lost in Music", "Thinking of You", "Frankie", and "All American Girls". An interesting fact about Sister Sledge is that they have won multiple awards, including an American Music Award, a Soul Train Music Award, and an International Dance Music Award. They were also inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003.
