Sir William Turner Walton (1902-1983) was a British composer and conductor who wrote music in a variety of genres, including orchestral, operatic, choral, chamber, and film music. He is best known for his works written for the stage, such as Façade (1923), Facade II (1925), and Troilus and Cressida (1954). Walton's most popular works include the Coronation March (1937), the oratorio Belshazzar's Feast (1931), the symphonies Scapino (1940) and Symphony No. 1 (1935), the Viola Concerto (1929), and the two film scores for Laurence Olivier's versions of Henry V (1944) and Richard III (1955).

Some of Walton's standout albums include the original soundtrack to Laurence Olivier's Henry V, his symphonies, his operas, and his choral works.
