Saxon Vinyl Records

Saxon is an English heavy metal band that formed in 1977 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. They have released 23 studio albums, 19 live albums, 8 compilations and 17 videos. Saxon has been cited as a major influence on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement, which rose to prominence in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Saxon's most successful albums include Wheels of Steel (1980), Strong Arm of the Law (1980), Denim and Leather (1981), Power and the Glory (1983), and Crusader (1984). Their most successful singles include "Wheels of Steel", "Motorcycle Man", "Princess of the Night", "Power and the Glory", and "Crusader".

An interesting fact about Saxon is that the band has released a number of live albums that have gone platinum, including the double album Rock 'n' Roll Gypsies (1989) and the triple album Heavy Metal Thunder (2002).
