Over the course of the band's career, they released 24 studio albums and won numerous awards, including seven Juno Awards and multiple Grammy Award nominations.

The band's standout albums include their 1974 debut album, Rush, their 1981 album Moving Pictures, their 1989 album Presto, their 1991 album Roll the Bones, their 1996 album Test for Echo, their 2002 album Vapor Trails, and their 2012 album Clockwork Angels.

The band is well known for their instrumental prowess and complex compositions, and some of their most popular songs include "The Spirit of Radio," "Tom Sawyer," "Limelight," "Subdivisions," "The Trees," "Closer to the Heart," "Freewill," and "Dreamline."
