Roxette Vinyl Records

Roxette is a Swedish pop rock duo, formed by singer Marie Fredriksson and guitarist Per Gessle. They are best known for their hits "The Look" (1989) and "Listen to Your Heart" (1988). The duo achieved international success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their albums Look Sharp! (1988), Joyride (1991), and Tourism (1992).

Roxette's breakout album was Look Sharp!, which featured the singles "The Look", "Dangerous", and "Listen to Your Heart". The album was certified 3x platinum in Sweden and 5x platinum in the US. It also earned them a Grammy Award nomination.

Their follow-up album, Joyride, was released in 1991 and was an even bigger success, earning 5x platinum in Sweden and 4x platinum in the US. It featured the singles "It Must Have Been Love", "Joyride", and "Fading Like a Flower (Every Time You Leave)".

Roxette's third album, Tourism, was released in 1992 and included the singles "How Do You Do!", "Church of Your Heart", and "Almost Unreal". It was certified 4x platinum in Sweden and 2x platinum in the US.

An interesting fact about Roxette is that their song "It Must Have Been Love" was featured in the 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.
