Ray Bryant Vinyl Records

Ray Bryant (1931-2011) was an American jazz pianist and composer known for his swing style of playing. He was born in Philadelphia and began playing the piano at an early age. He was influenced by gospel, blues, and jazz. Bryant played with several groups including Lionel Hampton, Art Blakey, and the Miles Davis Quintet. He also recorded several solo albums.

Some of his most notable albums include "In Concert" (1960), "Ray Bryant Trio" (1961), and "Little Susie" (1963). Standout songs include "Cubano Chant," "Hallelujah Time," and "The Madison Time."

An interesting fact about Ray Bryant is that he was the first African American artist to appear on the cover of Downbeat magazine in 1962.
